1. What BigPlug is

BigPlug is a marketplace. Suppliers list products; resellers choose products to sell, set their own markup, and share their store; BigPlug holds the customer’s payment, checks quality, arranges delivery, and pays everyone out.

BigPlug is not the manufacturer or the importer of the goods. The supplier who lists a product is responsible for it being what they say it is and being legal to sell.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or over and able to enter a contract.
• Give us accurate details. Payouts go to the bank account in your name; we verify the name matches before paying.
• Your sign-in code is yours. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you, so do not share it.
• One person, one account. Accounts created to evade a suspension get removed.

3. How the money works

The customer pays one price. That payment is held by BigPlug — it is not released to anyone at the moment of sale.

• Suppliers are paid when quality control passes. Once our agent inspects the goods at pickup and they pass, the supplier is paid, and that payment is not clawed back afterwards.
• Resellers are paid after delivery. Your markup, less the BigPlug fee, settles to your BigPlug wallet once the order is delivered.
• Prices are fixed at the moment of sale. The supplier’s price, your markup and our fee are recorded when the order is placed, and none of them change afterwards.
• You withdraw from your wallet to your verified bank account. Transfer fees are shown before you confirm.

4. Fees and subscriptions

BigPlug charges a fee on each order, taken from the reseller’s markup rather than added to the customer’s price. Where a paid plan applies, its price and what it includes are shown before you subscribe, and it renews monthly until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current month. Fees may change with notice, and a change never applies to an order already placed.

5. Selling on BigPlug

You may not list or sell:

• Counterfeit goods, or anything infringing someone’s brand.
• Anything illegal in Nigeria, including regulated drugs, weapons, and protected wildlife products.
• Products that require a licence you do not hold, or that make medical claims you cannot support.
• Stolen goods, or anything you do not have the right to sell.

Suppliers must have the stock they list and be able to fulfil what sells. Resellers must describe products honestly — you are the seller the customer deals with, and misleading a customer is grounds for removal.

6. Content you upload

You keep ownership of the photos and descriptions you upload. You give BigPlug permission to display and distribute them for the purpose of running the marketplace and your store. Only upload material you have the right to use — uploading someone else’s photography or brand assets is a breach of these terms and we act on complaints.

7. Messaging conduct

The in-app chat exists so people who are trading can coordinate. No harassment, threats, hate speech, spam, or attempts to move a transaction off BigPlug to avoid protection. You can block anyone and report a message; reported content is reviewed and we remove content and accounts that break this rule.

8. Delivery, returns and disputes

Orders are delivered by BigPlug’s agents. Our policy is no returns except where the goods are defective or not as described. Where that happens, who bears the cost depends on the cause: a fault in the goods sits with the supplier, damage in transit sits with BigPlug.

If an order cannot be verified as delivered, it stops for human review rather than settling automatically. Raise a dispute with support@mybigplug.com and give us the order code.

9. Suspension and closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app, or at mybigplug.com/delete-account. If money is owed to you or an order is in flight, we will tell you what needs to settle first.

We may suspend or close an account for fraud, for selling prohibited goods, for abuse of other users, or for repeatedly failing to fulfil orders. Where we do, money genuinely owed to you for completed orders is still paid.

10. Our liability

We run BigPlug carefully but we do not promise it will never be unavailable or never contain an error. To the extent the law allows, BigPlug is not liable for lost profits or indirect losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before it arose. Nothing here removes a liability that Nigerian law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Changes to these terms

We will post changes here and update the date above. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use BigPlug after that means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes go to the Nigerian courts. We would much rather settle it by email first.
